She is a Bachelor's at Civil Engineering from Federal University of Bahia, Brazil, in 1992; she has a Master's degree in Technology of Built Environment by University of São Paulo (USP/EESC) in 1998; she is doing a full Ph.D. in Mettalurgy and Material Engineering at Polytechnique de Montréal/Canada; she is an expert in Pathology of Construction by Eduardo Torroja Institute - Madrid/Spain in 1995; she is a professor of the Civil Engineering Department at Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) since 1999 - in addition, she was approved in the first place in national public contest for Professor with full-time dedication in 2009; she participated of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Energy and Environment (E&EINCT) in Brazil in 2013; she was a voluntary Civil Engineer of local Civil Defense in Aracaju/SE from 1999 to 2013; she served to the Regional Council of Engineering (like Order of Engineers) from 2002 to 2005; she was a director of the Brazilian Concrete Institute (Ibracon) in Sergipe from 2002 to 2013; as a Consultant and Auditor of Quality for Constructions she helped more than 20 companies of Sergipe to achieve the ISO 9000 certificate; she has experience in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Biosilic for Cementitious Mixtures, High Performance Concrete and Sustainable Materials Development.
