Lidice Meyer Pinto Ribeiro

Post-Doctoral Student at the Open University of Lisbon and Post-Doctorate in Anthropology and History at the University of São Paulo (2014). PhD in Social Sciences (Social Anthropology) from the University of São Paulo (2005), Master in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996) and Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1992), Lecturer in the Master's course in Science of Religions at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT) - Lisbon - Portugal and at Moriah College, Jerusalem, Israel. Researcher at: Instituto de Cristianismo Contemporâneo ULHT, Center for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures (CLEPUL) of the University of Lisbon, Chair of Globalization Studies at the Open University in Lisbon, and the Research Group on Women and Feminine in the Hebrew Bible , Christian Bible, Talmud and Kabbalah (NA'ARAH) from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Organizer and Coordinator of the Center for Studies in Protestantism at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. INEP/MEC Institutional Evaluator. She worked at Mackenzie Presbyterian University for 22 years, as a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Religious Sciences and in the graduation in Theology among other courses. She was coordinator of the Lato Sensu Postgraduate courses, member of the Ethics Committee in Research with Human Beings and of the Ethics and Citizenship Center at this same University. She carried out field research in the interior of Brazil, in Portugal, France, Germany, the USA and Italy. She has experience in the fields of Anthropology with an emphasis on Cultural Anthropology, Anthropology of Religion and Biblical Anthropology. She has published books and scientific articles in the areas of cultural anthropology, anthropology of religion and biblical anthropology, history and ethnobotany. She elaborated and defended the thesis on the existence of a Rural Protestantism in Brazil, which differs from the Protestantism of urban areas. Currently she has been dedicated to the studies of the feminine in the Bible and in religions in general.

Organizadora e Coordenadora do Núcleo de Estudos do Protestantismo da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Avaliadora Institucional do INEP/MEC. Atuou junto à Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie por 22 anos, como docente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Religião e na graduação em Teologia dentre ouros cursos. Foi coordenadora dos cursos de Pós-Graduação Lato Sensu, membro do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisas com Seres Humanos e do Núcleo de Ética e Cidadania nesta mesma Universidade. Realizou pesquisas de campo no interior do Brasil, em Portugal, França, Alemanha, EUA e Itália. Tem experiência nas áreas de Antropologia com ênfase em Antropologia Cultural, Antropologia da Religião e Antropologia Bíblica. Possui livros e artigos científicos publicados nas áreas de antropologia cultural, antropologia da religião e antropologia bíblica, história e etnobotânica. Elaborou e defendeu a tese sobre a existência de um Protestantismo Rural no Brasil, que se difere do protestantismo das áreas urbanas. Atualmente tem se dedicado aos estudos do feminino na Bíblia e nas religiões em geral .
