Admilson Moreira Torres

Admilson Torres graduated in Geology (1985) and completed his master's degree (1989) in Geology and Geochemistry at the Federal University of Pará. In 1997, he received the title of Doctor from Christian Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (Kiel), Germany, for his work on Sedimentology at the mouth of the Amazon River. Since 2000, he has been accepted as Researcher III (Geological Oceanography) at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of the State of Amapá (IEPA). His main lines of research in Amazonian ecosystems are: Evolution and Dynamics of Coastal and Marine Environments and Quaternary Environmental Changes.

Admilson Torres graduou-se em Geologia (1985) e concluiu seu mestrado (1989) em Geologia e Geoquímica pela Universidade Federal do Pará. Em 1997, recebeu o título de Doutor pela Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (Kiel), Alemanha, por seu trabalho sobre a Sedimentologia da foz do rio Amazonas. Desde 2000 é concursado como Pesquisador III (Oceanografia Geológica) do Instituto de Pesquisas Científicas e Tecnológicas do Estado do Amapá (IEPA). Suas principais linhas de pesquisa em ecossistemas amazônicos são: Evolução e Dinâmica de Ambientes Costeiros e Marinhos e Mudanças Ambientais Quaternárias.
