Flávia Bulegon Pilecco

B.Sc. in Biomedicine (UFCSPA), M.Sc and Ph.D. in Epidemiology (UFRGS). Did an exchange period as visiting researcher at King's College London and worked as postdoctoral fellow at the Centre Population & Développement (UMR 196, IRD/Université Paris-Dscartes) and at UFRGS. Nowadays, she is an assistant professor at the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine and a permanent profesor at the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Public Health at UFMG. Develops research on reproductive health and rights, abortion, HIV, violence, COVID-19 and vulnerable populations. She is a member of the Gender working group and the Epidemiology Commission at Brazilian Association of Collective Health. She is also a researcher at SAGE (UFRGS) and GPES (UFMG).

Graduada em Biomedicina (UFCSPA), mestre e doutora em Epidemiologia (UFRGS). Realizou estágio doutoral sanduíche no King's College London e pós-doutorado no Centre Population & Développement (UMR 196, IRD/Université Paris-Descartes) e na UFRGS. Atualmente é professora adjunta 2 do Departamento de Medicina Preventiva e Social e docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Saúde Pública da UFMG. Desenvolve pesquisa em temáticas que envolvam saúde e direitos reprodutivos, aborto, HIV, violência, COVID-19 e populações vulneráveis. É integrante do GT de Gênero e da Comissão de Epidemiologia da ABRASCO. Pesquisadora dos grupos de pesquisa SAGE (UFRGS) e GPES (UFMG).
