Professor at the Institute of History at UFRJ. She works in the areas of Ancient History and Theory and Philosophy of History, focusing on the history of women. She holds a degree in History from the Fluminense Federal University (1990), a Master's in History from the Fluminense Federal University (1994), a PhD in Social History (2000) and a postdoctoral degree in Archeology from the University of São Paulo (2007). She is a researcher at the Ancient History Laboratory (UFRJ) and associated with the Ancient City Studies Laboratory (LABECA MAE-USP). She leads the Center for Studies in History and Philosophy (IH-UFRJ), working in the lines of research history and historiography of Greek Antiquity and the comparative history of women.
Professora Titular do Instituto de História da UFRJ. Atua nas áreas de História Antiga e Teoria e Filosofia da História, tendo como foco a história das mulheres. Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1990), mestrado em História pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1994), doutorado em História Social (2000) e pós-doutorado na área de Arqueologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2007). É pesquisadora do Laboratório de História Antiga (UFRJ) e associada ao Laboratório de Estudos da Cidade Antiga (LABECA MAE-USP). Lidera o Núcleo de Estudos de História e Filosofia (IH-UFRJ), atuando nas linhas de pesquisa história e historiografia da Antiguidade Grega e história comparada das mulheres.
