Richard Christian Pinto dos Santos

Assistant Professor of Federal University of Maranhão. He holds a PhD from the Graduate Program in Public Policy at UFMA (2020). He holds a degree in Letters (2009) and a Master's in Education (2013) by the same. Researcher at the Nucleus of Afro-Brazilian Studies, where he coordinates the line of Research in Language and Ethnic-Racial Relations, working mainly on the following topics: the implications of ethnic-racial relations on Language, Literature, Arts, Media and others expressions of verbal and non-verbal language, Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the teaching of subjects in the area of Languages and Codes (Portuguese Language, Foreign Language, Arts Education, Physical Education). Affiliated to the Brazilian Association of Black Researchers - ABPN.

Professor assistente da Universidade Federal do Maranhão. É doutor pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Políticas Públicas da UFMA (2020). Possui graduação em Letras (2009) e Mestrado em Educação (2013) pela mesma. Pesquisador do Núcleo de Estudos Afro-Brasileiros, onde coordena a linha de Pesquisa em Linguagem e Relações Étnico-raciais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas:as implicações das relações étnico-raciais sobre a Língua, a Literatura, as Artes, a Mídia e outras expressões da linguagem verbal e não-verbal, Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e o ensino das disciplinas da área de Linguagens e Códigos (Língua Portuguesa, Língua Estrangeira, Educação Artística, Educação Física).
