Doutorado em recursos hídricos pelo Centro de Tecnologia e Geociências da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (CTG- UFPE) no Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Civil e Ambiental (PPGEC). Graduada e Mestre em engenharia civil pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de Pernambuco (POLI-UPE). Professora do curso de Engenharia Civil- núcleo de recursos hídricos e saneamento- da Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (Unicap Icam-Tech). Atuou como Gerente de Monitoramento e Fiscalização de Recursos Hídricos na Agência Pernambucana de Águas e Clima (APAC). Atua em pesquisas nas áreas de: segurança hídrica, sociohidrologia, gestão de recursos hídricos; sistemas de aproveitamento de água pluvial; gestão sustentável das águas urbanas; vulnerabilidade hídrica; resiliência e desenvolvimento sustentável no contexto das mudanças climáticas; governança hídrica; entre outros.
