Elaine Alves dos Santos

Ph.D. in Biosciences (2014) and Master of Nuclear Biosciences (2009) UERJ. Graduated in Biological Sciences (2005) in college of teacher-UERJ. Technique in the Environment by IFRJ (1999). Works with samples from Antarctica since Undergraduate Research in the Laboratory of Radioecology and Global Change where participated in seven scientific expeditions to the frozen continent. Currently a board member of APECS Brazil representing the area of Atmospheric Sciences and active in the area of Education and Participation. member of the Research Group in Geotectonics UERJ. Has experience in the area of ​​environment with emphasis on Climate Change, acting on the following topics: aerosols, atmospheric modeling, remote sensing, ocean primary productivity

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2005), mestrado em Biociências Nucleares pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2009) e doutorado em Ciências pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2014). Pós-Doutorado em Geociências (2021) . Atualmente é pós-doc no LARAMG/UERJ. Trabalha com divulgação científica ministrando palestras para o publico jovem.
