Doctor in Forestry Science from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV, graduated in Administration of Cooperatives / UFV and in Biological Sciences by Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE. He has worked with sustainability in agribusiness for more than 14 years in Brazil, Latin America and Asia. His experience includes greenhouse gas assessment and sustainability programs in responsible production in soybean chains, forest management, palm, biofuel, livestock, sugar cane, cotton and fruit production. Among the sustainability standards that have already been developed are the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), Bonsucro, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), the Round Table Responsible Soy (RTRS), International Sustainability Carbon Certification (ISCC), Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and Roundtable Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB). He assisted in the creation of the Soja Plus / ABIOVE program. Professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV, in the MBA of Strategic Management of Agribusiness teaching classes on socioenvironmental sustainability in agribusiness. He is currently an Lead Assessor to ASI - Assurance Services International.
