João Paulo Miranda Oliveira

I am graduated in Oceanography at UNIMONTE and I have a master's degree in Geophysics/Geology at UFRJ. I have experience in Geophysics/Geology - seismic and well interpretation (Petrel) - analysis and interpretation of seismic and well data - understanding the stratigraphy and structural geology from 2D and 3D data. Besides, I have experience in Geological and Physical Oceanography, working with topographic/bathymetric services that support coastal and nearshore charting; providing beach profile surveys, sediment sample and data processing, utilizing the latest survey instrumentation and software - single beam echo sounding (Ecotrack); RTK (Trimble); MRU; Junction Box, HYPACK® and Global Mapper, for the purpose of consulting for coastal engineering industry. In additional, Biological Oceanography, working mainly the following themes: marine fish, species identification, food quality and safety and environmental management.

Possui graduação em Oceanografia pelo Centro Universitário Monte Serrat (2009), e mestrado em Geologia/Geofísica pelo Departamento de Geologia da UFRJ (2015). Tem experiência em gerenciamento de projeto de P&DI há 10 anos, além de atuar na área de Geofísica/Geologia, com interpretação de dados sísmicos 2D e 3D, de poços e modelagem geológica, utilizando o software Petrel e IP, voltada para caracterização estratigráfica e estrutural.
