Eronildo Braga Bezerra

Eron Bezerra has a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability in the Amazon from the Federal University of Amazonas-UFAM / UNB, with the thesis "The search for sustainable alternatives: the experience of the Amazon cod factory". Agronomist Engineer. He has been a professor of Meteorology and Climatology at UFAM since 1988, working mainly on Climatology, Meteorology, Amazon and Sustainable Development. He served as State Deputy and Federal Deputy. He was Secretary of State for Rural Production in Amazonas (2007-2010; 2011-2014). He was also National Secretary of Science and Technology for Social Inclusion (SECIS) and Technological Development (SETEC) of MCTI (2015-2016). Currently at UFAM, he is the Coordinator of the Agroclimatology and Remote Sensing Laboratory (LASR), Director of the Center for Environmental Sciences (CCA), General Editor of the Scientific Sustainability Journal, and Coordinator of 05 Research & Extension projects Photovoltaic Solar Energy (ESF) in Amazonas - Solarimetric Map of AM; Study of Meteorological Variables in RMM with UFAM Meteorological Station; Implementation of Simultaneous Translation Center; Study of Photovoltaic Solar Energy Potential in FCA Solar Building and its replication through from the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Training Center (ESF) at UFAM's Southern Campus (Analysis and Dissemination of the impact of UFAM's sustainable environmental and agroecological policies). He has authored hundreds of publications and lectures, as well as participation in events. General Editor of the Sustainability Scientific Journal, author of 03 books (Amazon this world apart, Dossier A Amazonia, Sustainability: Trails to Travel, Preface to the book Dinho, Hero of the Amazon); co-author of another 05 books (Public Policies for a New National Development Project: The Communists' Experience. Eron Bezerra é Doutor em Ciências do Ambiente e Sustentabilidade na Amazônia pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM/UNB), com a Tese "A busca de alternativas sustentáveis: a experiência da fábrica de bacalhau da Amazônia". É Engenheiro Agrônomo, Professor de Meteorologia e Climatologia da UFAM desde 1988, atuando principalmente nos temas de Climatologia, Meteorologia, Energias Sustentáveis, especialmente Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (ESF), Amazônia e Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Exerceu mandatos de Deputado Estadual e Federal. Foi Secretário de Estado da Produção Rural no Amazonas (2007-2010; 2011-2014). Também foi Secretário Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia do MCTI (SECIS e SETEC) entre 2015 e 2016. Atualmente, na UFAM, é responsável pela disciplina de Meteorologia e Climatologia, Coordenador do Laboratório de Agroclimatologia e Sensoriamento Remoto (LASR), Coordenador do Seminário Internacional de Meteorologia e Climatologia do Amazonas, Editor Geral da Revista Científica Sustentabilidade, Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa UPEC - Unidade de Pesquisa em Energia, Clima e Desenvolvimento Sustentável e Diretor do Centro de Ciências do Ambiente (CCA). Atua em 05 Projetos de Pesquisa, sendo 04 como Coordenador e 01 como Pesquisador: Estudo do Potencial de Energia Solar Fotovoltaico (ESF) no Amazonas - Mapa Solarimétrico no Amazonas; Estudo de Variáveis Meteorológicas na RMM com a Estação Meteorológica da UFAM; Implantação do Centro de Tradução Simultânea; Estudo do Potencial de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica no Edifício Solar da FCA e sua replicação através do Centro de Capacitação em Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (ESF) no Campus Sul da UFAM; Análise e Difusão do Impacto das políticas ambientais e agroecológicas sustentáveis da UFAM. Já orientou ou está sob sua orientação dezenas de estudantes em Projetos de Pesquisa, PIBIC, Monitoria, etc. É autor de 03 livros: Amazônia, esse mundo à parte; Dossiê Amazônia; Sustentabilidade: trilhas a percorrer. É coautor de 06 livros: Políticas públicas para um novo projeto nacional de desenvolvimento: a experiência dos comunistas (capítulo: O desafio de produzir com sustentabilidade na Amazônia); I Antologia Amazônica (capítulo: Amazônia e o projeto nacional de desenvolvimento); A nova conjuntura nacional, regional e internacional: desafios para o modelo Zona Franca de Manaus (capítulo: Avanços e limites do projeto Zona Franca de Manaus); Desafios Logísticos na Amazônia Continental (capítulo: O caráter estratégico da logística e infraestrutura na atividade produtiva na Amazônia); Políticas Públicas: a experiência dos comunistas e o novo projeto nacional de desenvolvimento (capítulo: Ideias inovadoras: os projetos de agricultura indígena e residência agrária); Comentários a um delírio militarista (capítulo: Amazônia: não há nem integração, nem desenvolvimento). Também prefaciou o livro Dinho, Herói da Amazônia. É autor de aproximadamente de 800 (oitocentos) artigos de caráter científico, jornalísticos e diversos; proferiu algo como 480 (quatrocentas e oitenta) palestras e conferências em âmbito nacional e internacional; e tem participação em quase 600 (seiscentos) eventos. É escritor, articulista e conferencista, especialmente nos temas de sua atuação acadêmica e política.
