Bruno Melo de Araújo

Doutor em Museologia e Patrimônio pela UNIRIO/MAST (2019), Mestre em História pela UFRPE (2013) e licenciado em História pela UFRPE (2010). Professor do Curso de Bacharelado em Museologia da UFPE , Coordenador do Curso de bacharelado em Museologia e Vice-coordenador do MINTER UFPE/UNIRIO pela instituição receptora. É coordenador do Projeto de pesquisa Museus universitários no Nordeste: pesquisa, análise, fundamentos e estratégias financiado pela Fundação de Amparo à Ciência e Tecnologia do Estado de Pernambuco/ FACEPE e do projeto de pesquisa Museália em Análise: a representação da ciência nos museus de Ciência e Tecnologia em Pernambuco. Editor adjunto da Revista Museologia e Patrimônio do PPGPMUS UNIRIO/MAST. Atua com os temas: Museus e Patrimônio Cultural de Ciência e Tecnologia, Patrimônio Universitário, Cultura Material. Atualmente é membro do Grupo de pesquisa Museologia, Ciência e Informação da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco; Museologia e Preservação de Acervos Culturais do Museu de Astronomia e Ciências Afins e Laboratório de Estudos sobre Patrimônio Cultural e Memorial Social.

PhD in Museology and Heritage by the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro / Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences (UNIRIO / MAST), Master in History by the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2013). Degree in History (UFRPE, 2010). Professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Museology at UFPE. Currently developing the doctoral research project "Between objects and institutions: Trajectory and constitution of the collections of objects of S & T of Engineering in Pernambuco". He is a researcher of the project "Cultural Heritage of Science and Technology in teaching and research institutions of Pernambuco: musealization, preservation and disposal in the twentieth century", funded by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development / CNPq and Foundation of Support to Science and Technology of State of Pernambuco / FACEPE. Acts with the themes: Museums and Cultural Patrimony of Science and Technology, University Heritage, Material Culture. He is currently a member of the Research Group Museology, Science and Information of the Federal University of Pernambuco; Museology and Preservation of Cultural Collections of the Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences and Laboratory of Studies on Cultural Heritage and Social Memorial, with emphasis on the research line Museology, Social Memory and Cultural Heritage.
