Thiago Angelo Gonçalves de Lacerda

I hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007), and a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2011). Currently, I am a Senior Researcher at the Foundation for Project Coordination, Research, and Technological Studies, where I primarily focus on the following areas: offshore structures, fatigue, fluid-structure interaction, vortex-induced motion, riser analysis, structural integrity, and Stress Corrosion Cracking in CO2 environments (SCC-CO2).

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2005), mestrado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2007) e doutorado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2011). Atualmente é pesquisador pleno da Fundação Coordenação de Projetos, Pesquisas e Estudos Tecnológicos. , atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: estruturas offshore, fadiga, interação fluido-estrutura, movimentos induzidos por vórtices, análise de risers, integridade estrutural e Corrosão Sob Tensão por CO2 (SCC-CO2)
