Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Jataí (UFJ) e doutorando no Centro de Informática (CIn) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) com período sanduíche na Brunel University London (UK). Possui graduação em Sistemas de Informação pela Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (UNICAP) e Mestrado em Representação do Conhecimento pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP). É vice-coordenador do Grupo de Interesse em Educação em Computação (GIEC) da Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (SBC). É membro do Grupo Especial de Interesse em Educação de Computação (SIGCSE) da ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). É membro do Grupo de Pesquisa de Desenvolvimento Educacional de Multimídias Sustentáveis (DEMULTS) da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). É membro-facilitador do Comitê de Diversidade (CoDi/Cin). É membro-facilitador do Grupo de Trabalho de Inclusão, Diversidade, Equidade e Acessibilidade (GT IDEA) do GIEC/SBC. É membro do Núcleo de Informática na Educação (NINE-IFG). Foi chair do Jataí ACM SIGCSE Chapter (2018-2023). Foi membro do Comitê Gestor da CEIE (Comissão Especial de Informática na Educação) da SBC (2017-2020).
He is an Adjunct Professor from the Federal University of Jataí (UFJ) and a Ph.D. student from the Centre of Informatics (CIn) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) with an interchange period at Brunel University London (UK). He was graduated in Information Systems from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP). His master's subject was in Knowledge Representation at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is vice coordinator of Interest Group on Computing Education (GIEC) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). He is a member of the Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). He is a member of the Research Group of Educational Development of Sustainable Multimedias (DEMULTS) of Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). He is member-facilitator of Diversity Comittee (CoDi/CIn). He is the member-facilitator of Working Group of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (WG IDEA) of GIEC/SBC. He is a member of the Research Group of Informatics on Education (NINE-IFG). He was chair of the Jataí ACM SIGCSE Chapter (2018-2023). He was a member of the Management Committee of CEIE (Special Commission of Informatics on Education) of SBC (2017-2020).
