Wilson Romero Nakagaki

Graduated (bachelor) in physical therapy at UNESP (2000), specialization (Sensu Lato) in Prevention and Spinal Pathologies at FMU (2002) and master's degree (2006, area of concentration: Cell Biology) and doctoral degree - PhD - (2011, area of concentration: Human Anatomy) in Cellular and Structural Biology at UNICAMP. Currently is a professor at Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE) and also a volunteer contributor researcher in the Department of Structural and Functional Biology (Human Anatomy) of the Institute of Biology (UNICAMP) and member of the Regeneration and Plasticity Laboratory of the Bone Tissue. Has experience in biomechanics of softs tissues, extracellular matrix, biochemistry and morphology of tendons and bones under effect of physical exercise, alcohol and muscular dystrophy.

Possui graduação em Fisioterapia pela UNESP (2000), especialização Lato Sensu em Prevenção e Patologias da Coluna Vertebral pela FMU (2002) e mestrado (2006, área de concentração: Biologia Celular) e doutorado (2011, área de concentração: Anatomia) em Biologia Celular e Estrutural pela UNICAMP. Atualmente é docente em cursos da graduação e do Mestrado em Ciências da Saúde na Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE) e também pesquisador colaborador voluntário no Departamento de Biologia Estrutural e Funcional (Anatomia Humana) do Instituto de Biologia da UNICAMP, onde é integrante do Laboratório de Plasticidade e Regeneração do Tecido Ósseo. Tem experiência em: análise biomecânica de tecidos, matriz extracelular, morfologia e bioquímica de tendões e ossos sob efeito do exercício físico, do álcool e da distrofia muscular.
