Márlon Augusto Longhi

Graduated in CIVIL ENGINEERING from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2012). With a Masters in Civil Engineering from the same institution PPGEC/UFRGS (2015). With PhD at NORIE/PPGCI/UFRGS (2015-2019) with sandwich period at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) - Australia (2018-2019). Professor at the University of Vale do Taquari (UNIVATES) during the years 2015 and 2017 and at the University of Caxias do Sul during the period 2016 and 2020. Currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), supervised by Prof. Ana Paula Kirchheim. Works in the academy in the construction area, in the study of pathological manifestations in concretes and mortars, in the study of the hydration of different types of cements, conventional and alternative, in the development of special concretes and mortars, in the use of industrial waste as supplementary cementitious materials to cement, with emphasis on the development of geopolymeric cements based on industrial waste. Also works as civil engineer in the development of residential and commercial projects, infrastructure and as a consultant in the development of special concretes.

Possui graduação em ENGENHARIA CIVIL pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2012). Com Mestrado em Engenharia Civil pela mesma instituição PPGEC/UFRGS (2015). Com Doutorado no NORIE/PPGCI/UFRGS (2015-2019) com período sanduiche na University of Southern Queensland (USQ) - Austrália (2018-2019). Foi professor na Universidade do Vale do Taquari (UNIVATES) entre os anos de 2015 e 2017 e professor na Universidade de Caxias do Sul durante o período de 2016 e 2020. Atualmente é pós-doutorando na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) sob orientação da Prof. Ana Paula Kirchheim. Atua na academia na área de construção, no estudo das manifestações patológicas em concretos e argamassas, no estudo da hidração dos diferentes tipos de cimentos, convencionais e alternativos, no desenvolvimento de concretos e argamassas especiais, na utilização de resíduos industriais como adição em cimentos, com ênfase no desenvolvimento de cimentos geopoliméricos a base de resíduos industriais. Atua como profissional autônomo na elaboração de projetos residenciais, comerciais, infraestrutura de loteamentos e como consultor no desenvolvimento de concretos especiais.
