Cynthia Murakami

Doutora e Mestre em Biodiversidade Vegetal e Meio Ambiente pelo Instituto de Botânica de SP (2017 e 2009). Possui licenciatura plena e bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade de Santo Amaro/UNISA (2005) e especialização no ensino de biologia pela Universidade de São Paulo/USP (2010). Atuou como docente no ensino superior, na modalidade à distância, e como professora de ciências e biologia no ensino básico. Tem experiência em química de produtos naturais, com ênfase no estudo de óleos essenciais e no isolamento de compostos bioativos, análises por RMN, CG-EM, CLAE-DAD e CCD, e atividades antifúngica, anticolinesterásica e antioxidante in vitro.

PhD and Master in Plant Biodiversity and Environment by the Institute of Botany of SP (2017 and 2009). Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Santo Amaro / UNISA (2005) and specialization in biology teaching from the University of São Paulo / USP (2010). Experienced as college professor in the distance mode and as a teacher of sciences and biology in elementary and high school. Experienced in chemistry of natural products, with emphasis on the study of essential oils and the isolation of bioactive compounds, analysis by NMR, GC-MS, HPLC-DAD and TLC, and antifungal, anticholinesterase and antioxidant activities in vitro.
