Alexandre Cacheffo

Born in Ribeirão dos Índios - Santo Anastácio (SP), he is currently a professor at the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences of Pontal (ICENP), at the Campus Pontal of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), in Ituiutaba (MG). He is dedicated to studies on atmospheric aerosols by means of remote sensing (ground-based lidar, solar photometry, satellites) and works on university extension projects related to scientific dissemination and Astronomy.

Professor da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), junto ao Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais do Pontal (ICENP), em Ituiutaba (MG). Atualmente, dedica-se a estudos sobre aerossóis atmosféricos por meio de sensoriamento remoto (lidar, fotometria solar, satélites) e a projetos de extensão universitária relacionados à Astronomia, voltados a espaços de ciência e divulgação científica.
