Bolsista no United Nations-Nippon Foundation Fellowship Programme on Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (2017), sendo pesquisador visitante na Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS/UN), Nova Iorque-EUA e no Marine Policy Center/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Massachusetts-EUA. Atuação profissional como Técnico de Aquiculltura do Centro de Tecnologia em Aquicultura e Meio Ambiente (CTA), em Vitória-ES (2005 a 2006); Analista em Licenciamento Ambiental da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente (SEMMAM) de Vitória-ES (2006 a 2009); Assistente Técnico da Coordenação Geral de Planejamento e Ordenamento da Aquicultura Continental do Ministério da Pesca e Aquicultura (MPA), em Brasília-DF (2009 a 2013); Tecnologista na Coordenação-Geral de Oceanos, Antártica e Geociências do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovações (MCTI), em Brasília-DF (2014 a 2018); Chefe da Divisão de Ciências e Diretor Substituto do Instituto Nacional da Mata Atlântica (INMA/MCTI), em Santa Teresa-ES (2018 a 2021).
