Viatcheslav Ivanovich Priimenko

Graduated at Applied Mathematics and Mechanics from Novosibirsk State University (1978) and Ph.D. at Applied Mathematics from the Novosibirsk State University (1990). Actually he is a professor of the North Fluminense State University, Department of Petroleum Engineering and Exploration, a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology - Petroleum Geophysics and Head of the CNPq scientific group "Mathematical, Computational and Laboratorial Modelling in Geophysics and Reservoir Engineering". He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Eurasian Journal of Mathematical and Computer Applications. He has experience in Mathematics, focusing on Applied Mathematics, acting in Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering.

É graduado em Matemática Aplicada e Mecânica pela Novosibirsk State University (NSU), Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk, Rússia em 1978. Mestre em Matemática (1978) e Doutor (1990) em Física-Matemática pela NSU. Obteve seu título de Livre Docente em 1997 na NSU. Atualmente é professor titular da Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF), Laboratório de Engenharia e Exploração de Petróleo (LENEP), membro do Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia - Geofísica de Petróleo (INCT-GP) e líder do grupo de pesquisa de CNPq "Modelagem Matemática, Computacional e Laboratorial em Geofísica e Engenharia de Reservatórios". É membro do Corpo Editorial da Eurasian Journal of Mathematical and Computer Applications.Tem experiência na área de Matemática, com ênfase em Matemática Aplicada, atuando principalmente em Geofísica e Engenharia de Petróleo.
