Professora Titular da Disciplina Odontopediatria-UFMA. Professor Permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Odontologia e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Saúde Coletiva- UFMA. Visiting Associate Professor in the Department Oral Health Sciences, University British of Columbia, Canadá (2019). Atua nas áreas área da Odontologia e Saúde Coletiva -Epidemiologia, especialmente nos temas: Doenças Não Transmissíveis (DNT) com foco nos seus fatores de risco comuns ao longo do ciclo vital: cárie, periodontite e outras DNT, na visão da integralidade em saúde. Desenvolve pesquisas dos fatores de risco comportamentais nos Primeiros Mil dias de Vida, dentro da perspectiva DoHAD. Prêmio LAR Senior-IADR 2023. Bolsista de Produtividade CNPq 2022-2025 nível 2.
