Brenda de Oliveira Silva Cavalcante

Doutoranda em Estética e História da Arte (MAC USP) no tema Visualidades Amazônicas. Possuo Graduação em Letras Língua Inglesa (UFPA, 2009), Mestrado em Artes (ECA USP, 2013) e Especialização em Direção de Arte Audiovisual (SENAC, 2018). Profissionalmente, dedico-me à docência, ao mercado de arte e à inter-relação entre Arte e Meio Ambiente, através da agricultura e produção rural. Como pesquisadora, atuo principalmente nos seguintes temas: Artes, Agroecologia, Direção de Arte, Semiótica e Ensino e Aprendizagem.

I am a Ph.D. student in Aesthetics and Art History (MAC USP) on the topic of Amazon's visual cultures. I graduated in English (UFPA, 2009) and took a Master's degree in Arts (ECA USP, 2013). I'm also a specialist in Production Design for Cinema (SENAC 2018). Since 2013, I have worked in the Art Business and Education. I also develop projects on the interrelationship between Art and the Environment in rural areas. I research the following topics: Arts, Agroecology, Production design, Semiotics, and Teaching/Learning methodologies.
