Graduated with a Bachelor and Teaching degree in Physical Education at the University of São Paulo (2002, 2003). Graduated with a Master in Physical Education at the University of São Paulo (2007) and a second Master in Physical Education (focusing in curriculum) at Brock University, Canada (2010). Graduated with a PhD in Physical Education at Auburn University, USA (2013). Having a teaching experience of 19 years, including teaching in early childhood, elementary and higher education. Possui Mestrado em Educação Física (escolar) - USP (2007) e Mestrado em Educação Física (currículos) pela Brock University, Canadá (2010). É Doutor em Educação Física pela Auburn University, EUA (2013). Atualmente é professor da Leeds Beckett University, Inglaterra.
