Daniel dos Santos Fernandes

He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences/Anthropology from the Federal University of Pará (2008), Master's degree in Letters: Linguistics and Literary Theory from the Federal University of Pará (2002) and a degree in Pedagogy/School Administration from the State University of Pará (1997). Collaborating Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Anthropic Studies in the Amazon, External member of the Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies Nucleus (NEABI) IFPA/Campus Tucuruí, Member of the Editorial Board of Nova Revista Amazônica/PPLSA, has experience in the field of Anthropology , with an emphasis on Cultural and Visual Anthropology, working with traditional riverside and fishing communities. Vice-coordinator of the COLLABORATORY OF INTERCULTURALITIES, INCLUSION OF KNOWLEDGE AND SOCIAL INNOVATION (COLINS)/UFPA Campus Castanhal-PPGEAA. Effective member of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology - ABA and member of the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science - SBPC.

Possui doutorado em Ciências Sociais/Antropologia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2008), mestrado em Letras: Lingüística e Teoria Literária pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2002) e graduação em Pedagogia/Administração Escolar pela Universidade do Estado do Pará (1997). Professor Colaborador no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Antrópicos na Amazônia, Membro externo do Núcleo de Estudos Afro-brasileiro e Indígena (NEABI) IFPA/Campus Tucuruí, Membro do Conselho Editorial da Nova Revista Amazônica/PPLSA, tem experiência na área de Antropologia, com ênfase em Antropologia Cultural e Visual, trabalhando com comunidades tradicionais ribeirinhas e pesqueiras. Vice-coordenador do COLABORATÓRIO DE INTERCULTURALIDADES, INCLUSÃO DE SABERES E INOVAÇÃO SOCIAL(COLINS)/UFPA Campus Castanhal-PPGEAA. Associado efetivo na Associação Brasileira de Antropologia - ABA e associado da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência - SBPC.
