Leandro Novaes da Silva
He has experience in the area of Letters, with emphasis on Applied Linguistics and Modern Foreign Languages. PhD student at the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Applied Linguistics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the research line Discourse and Literacies since 2021 under the guidance of Professor Paula Tatianne Carréra Szundy whose focus is on the teaching-learning process, literacies and classroom life. Graduated (Bachelor and Licentiate) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) in the Literature course. He taught English Language at the State University of Rio de Janeiro as a substitute teacher since 2022. He worked as a pedagogical coordinator and English teacher at Yielding English School (YES) for 10 years and is currently an English teacher in Basic Education (Elementary School) at Intellectus school. He was a Volunteer Scholar of Scientific Initiation in the Research "TRANSCULTURAL TRANSLATION AND LITERATURES OF AFRO ORIGIN" supervised by Professor Maria Aparecida F. de Andrade Salgueiro from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He studied from 2017 to 2019 the Postgraduate course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) / Specialization in English Language which contributed to the development of a focused on the process of Teaching and Learning English Language based on Practice Studies Exploratory with guidance from Professor Maria Isabel Azevedo Cunha. He studied from 2018 to 2020 the Academic Master in Linguistic Studies at the State University of Rio de Janeiro in São Gonçalo / Faculty of Teacher Training (UERJ / FFP) with a scholarship from FAPERJ for having passed first in the selection. Focused on the Teaching-Learning Process based on Exploratory Practice studies under the guidance of Professor Isabel Cristina Rangel Moraes Bezerra. Currently, he publishes and presents works resulting from studies and research guided by the principles of Exploratory Practice and other philosophies in Rio de Janeiro as one of the members of NEPPE of the Faculty of Teacher Education at UERJ, of the Exploratory Practice Group at PUC-Rio and the group PLEGE (Literacy and Gender Practices at School) from UFRJ.
Possui graduação em Inglês/ Literaturas de Língua Inglesa pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2014), Especialista em Língua inglesa pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2019) e Mestrado em Letras e Linguística pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2020). Atualmente é doutorando em Indisciplinar Lingüística Aplicada pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, atuou como professor substituto de língua inglesa da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2022) e exerce atualmente a função de professor de inglês no Colégio e Curso Intellectus LTDA desde 2021. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literaturas Estrangeiras Modernas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas com participação em diversos grupos de pesquisa: Prática Exploratória, aprendizagem de língua inglesa, monotonia em sala de aula, letramentos e ensino-aprendizagem.
