Valentina Martelli

VM is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo where she has co-founded the Laboratory for Quantum Matter under Extreme Conditions (LQMEC.com). Her research is focused on the study of thermal and thermoelectric properties in materials with non-trivial topology (bulk and thin-films). From 2020, she leads a Tandem Research Group supported by a Jovem Pesquisador Grant (FAPESP in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute). She graduated at the University of Florence (PhD in 2012, Master 2008, Bachelor 2006) and she worked as PostDoc at the Vienna University of Technology (2012-2015) and at the Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (2015-2018).
