Marcela dos Passos Galluzzi Baltazar

Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (PQI POLI USP). In 2022, she spent six months as a visiting professor at the University of British Columbia, where she collaborated with the research group in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department in Vancouver, Canada. She has been working in the field of Green Technology for over 15 years, developing analytical methodologies and conducting research related to the environment, with a focus on waste treatment, utilization, and/or minimization. Currently, she is a research professor at the Embrapii Tecnogreen Unit, based in the LAREX (Laboratory of Recycling, Waste Treatment, and Extractive Metallurgy), where she supervises master's and doctoral students on topics related to green technology and the development of bioprocesses for waste treatment. Additionally, she is responsible for implementing Project Management in the Embrapii Tecnogreen Unit.

Professora Doutora do Departamento de Engenharia Química da Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (PQI POLI USP). Em 2022 ficou 6 meses como professora visitante na University of British Columbia, onde colaborou com o grupo de pesquisas do Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, em Vancouver, Canadá. Atua há mais de 15 anos na área de Tecnologia Verde, desenvolvendo metodologias analíticas e pesquisas aliadas ao meio ambiente, com foco no tratamento, aproveitamento e/ou minimização de resíduos. Atualmente é professora pesquisadora da Unidade Embrapii Tecnogreen, sediada no LAREX (Laboratório de Reciclagem, Tratamento de Resíduos e Metalurgia Extrativa) onde orienta alunos de mestrado e doutorado com temas voltados para tecnologia verde e desenvolvimento de bioprocessos para tratamento de resíduos. Além disso, é responsável pela implantação da Gestão de Projetos da Unidade EMBRAPII Tecnogreen.
