Lucas de Lucena Simões e Silva

Master degree in gastroenterology from Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). Bachelor degree in physical education from the University of Pernambuco (UPE). Has experience in the field of Molecular Biology with emphasis on human genetics and hepatic diseases; physical education with an emphasis on the area of fatty liver diseases and viral hepatitis, working on the following topics: metabolic syndrome and Hepatitis C (HCV); Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and physical exercise. It studies metabolic disorders, inflammatory processes and insulin resistance related to regular physical activity and exercise. Member of Laboratory of Clinical and Experimental Gastroenterology - LIM 07 (USP).

Mestre em Ciências em Gastroenterologia pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP) e graduado em educação física pela Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE). Possui experiência na área de Biologia Molecular com ênfase em genética humana e doenças hepáticas. Tem experiência na área da educação física com ênfase na área de doenças hepáticas gordurosas e hepatites virais, atuando nos seguintes temas: síndrome metabólica e Hepatite C (HCV); Doença Hepática Gordurosa não Alcoólica (DHGNA), Esteato-Hepatite não Alcoólica (EHNA) e exercício físico. Estuda distúrbios metabólicos, processos inflamatórios e resistência à insulina relacionados com a prática regular de atividade física e exercício físico.
