Wildoberto Batista Gurgel

Ayala Gurgel nasceu em Alexandria-RN. É Bacharel em Filosofia (1997, UFPB), Especialista em Saúde Mental e Atenção Psicossocial (2013, Estácio de Sá), Mestre em Filosofia (2001, UFPB). Doutor em Políticas Públicas (2008, UFMA), com a tese Direitos Sociais dos Moribundos, premiada pela Capes com Menção Honrosa na Edição 2010 do Prêmio Capes de Teses. Doutornado em Filosofia (turma iniciada em 2018, UFC). Professor da UFMA (Universidade Federal do Maranhão) de 1998 a 2014 onde desenvolveu pesquisas na área de políticas públicas voltadas para a morte-morrer e na área de saúde mental. Desde 2014, Professor da UFERSA (Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido). Tem experiência na área de Filosofia, com ênfase em Ética, Bioética, Tanatologia e Saúde Mental. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas na área de filosofia da linguagem ordinária e teoria da argumentação.

He currently develops research in the field of philosophy of ordinary language and theory of argumentation.
