Cecília Maria Villas Bôas de Almeida

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1983), mestrado em Química (Físico-Química) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1995) e doutorado em Química (Físico-Química) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1999). Professora titular do ICET (Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Tecnologia) e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção da Universidade Paulista. Desenvolve pesquisa na área de Produção Mais Limpa e Ecologia Industrial, em que são analisados e desenvolvidos conceitos, ferramentas e técnicas para o cálculo de indicadores ambientais e indicadores de sustentabilidade. Atua, também, como pesquisadora do LaProMA (Laboratório de Produção e Meio Ambiente) da Universidade Paulista. De 2012 a 2015 atuou como Subject Editor: Cleaner Production in Latin America para o Journal of Cleaner Production, em 2016 atuou como Executive Editor e, desde maio de 2017 é Co-Editor-in-Chief do Journal of Cleaner Production. Em Scopus, o seu índice h é 32 e o índice i10 no Google Acadêmico é 21. Prof. Cecília Almeida holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1983), a Master's degree in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1995) and a PhD in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1999). Full professor at ICET (Institute of Exact Sciences and Technology) and at the Graduate Program in Production Engineering at Universidade Paulista. She develops researches in the area of Cleaner Production and Industrial Ecology, in which concepts, tools and techniques for calculating environmental indicators and sustainability indicators are analyzed and developed. She also works as a researcher at LaProMA (Laboratory of Production and Environment) at Universidade Paulista. From 2012 to 2015 she served as Subject Editor: Cleaner Production in Latin America for the Journal of Cleaner Production, in 2016 she served as Executive Editor, and since May 2017 she has been Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cleaner Production. In Scopus, her h-index is 32 and the i10 index in Google Scholar is 21.
