Tiago Oliveira Weber

Tiago Oliveira Weber concluiu seu doutorado em Microeletrônica pela Universidade de São Paulo em 2015, e graduou-se em Engenharia Elétrica na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria em 2010. Pesquisou no Laboratório de Sistemas Integráveis (LSI) da Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, onde trabalhou em cooperação com ALICE-CERN no projeto de sinal-misto e teste do projeto SAMPA ASIC. Foi professor adjunto na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) por 3 anos e 7 meses e atualmente é professor na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Seus interesses principais são computação analógica, ferramentas CAD para circuitos integrados analógicos, otimização, técnicas de inteligência artificial, aquisição de dados e instrumentação.

Tiago Oliveira Weber received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, in 2010. Tiago obtained his Doctorate degree in Microelectronics from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2015. He researched at the Integrated Systems Laboratory (LSI), where he worked in collaboration with ALICE-CERN on the mixed-signal design and test of the SAMPA ASIC project. He was a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) for more than 3 years and currently is a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). His main research interests are analog computing, CAD tools for analog integrated circuits, optimization, artificial intelligence techniques, data acquisition and instrumentation.
