Lucas Nascimento Machado

Professor substituto de História da Filosofia da UFRJ. Doutor em Filosofia pela FFLCH-USP e diretor da Associação Latino-Americana de Filosofia Intercultural (ALAFI). Atualmente atuando na pesquisa nos seguintes temas: determinação e autodeterminação no idealismo alemão, filosofia e ceticismo no idealismo alemão, filosofia intercultural, filosofia budista, a filosofia de Byung-Chul Han.Também é tradutor, com ênfase na tradução de livros de filosofia alemã contemporãnea, tendo já traduzido os seguintes autores: Byung-Chul Han ("No Enxame", "Bom Entretenimento" e "Filosofia do Zen Budismo"), Klaus Vieweg ("O Pensamento da Liberdade: Linhas Fundamentais da Filosofia do Direito de Hegel"), Dieter Henrich ("Pensar e Ser Si Mesmo"), Markus Gabriel ("Eu Não Sou Meu Cérebro").

Substitute Professor of History of Philosophy at UFRJ. Philosophy PhD by the University of São Paulo with a PhD Sandwich period in Uni-Bonn from April 2016 to April 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Gabriel. Has a Master's Degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (2010) and is graduated in Philosophy, also by the University of São Paulo. Director of the Latin-American Network on Intercultural Philosophy. Acting on the following subjects: German Idealism and Skepticism, Determination and Self-determination in German Idealism, Madhyamaka's Philosophy. Translator of German Philosophy, having translated the following authors: Fichte, G.E. Schulze, Byung-Chul Han, Klaus Vieweg, Dieter Henrich, Markus Gabriel.
