Esmeraldo dos Santos Filho

Esmeraldo dos Santos Filho obtained his PhD in 2005 at Tohoku University, Japan. He worked as Postdoctoral Fellow for the Centre National de La Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France and worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, UK. His field of interest is automatic analysis of biomedical images.

master's at Electric Engineering from Universidade Federal do Maranhão (2000) and doctorate at Engenharia Eletrica from Tohoku University (2005).
