Erica Dutra Albuquerque

Graduated in Biological Sciences (2004) and attained a master's degree in Agronomy (Plant Production) at the Federal University of Alagoas (2007). Teacher and Coordinator undergraduate degree in Biology and Enviromental Management (2009-2013). Doctor in Biotechnology at the Federal University of Espírito Santo/RENORBIO/Brasil (2013). Researcher in a project of VALE Company (2011-2013). Research Internship at KU Leuven-Belgium (2011) and at Rabdoud University-Holland (2012-2013). Experience in the area of Biotechnology, Botany and Microbiology, mainly in the following areas: Biotechnology of plant and microorganisms; secondary metabolites; second generation biofuels and Lignocellululolytic enzymes, Gene Design. Awarded a gold medal for the best work in environment area at the International Finex Meeting (2013). Recently Post Doc in Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology at Leiden University (2013-2015).
