Carlos Welligton de Azevedo Pires Sobrinho

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1980), Master in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1985) and Ph.D. in CIVIL ENGINEERING from the Faculty of Engeneering of the University of Porto-Partugal (2021). He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Pernambuco and a senior researcher at the Pernambuco Institute of Technology. Has experience in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Construction Processes, acting on the following topics: construction pathology, load-bearing masonry, housing, construction process and performance evaluation.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1980), mestrado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1985) e doutorado em ENGENHARIA CIVIL pela FACULDADE DE ENGENHARIA DA UNIVERSIDADE DO PORTO-PORTUGAL (2021). Atualmente é professor assistente da Universidade de Pernambuco e pesquisador nível superior do Instituto de Tecnologia de Pernambuco. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Processos Construtivos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: patologia das construçoes, alvenaria portante, habitação, processo construtivo e avaliação de desempenho.
