Carla Mourão

Graduated in Geography Bachelor (With Emphasis in Environmental Analysis and Geoprocessing) from the Federal University of Alfenas (2013), Master in Environmental Sciences from the Federal University of Alfenas (2016) and Doctorate in Sciences in the area of Ecology and Natural Resources from the University Federal of San Carlos. She is a researcher at the UFSC Protected Areas Observatory Study Group. She was a CNPq scholarship holder in the Doctorate (2019-2023), CAPES scholarship holder during the Masters (2014-2016) and by FAPEMIG in Scientific Initiation (2012). She held a teaching internship at the Division of Environment at the Municipality of Porto Ferreira-(2010-2011) and at the Laboratory of Geomorphology and Soils at UNIFAL-MG (2012). She worked at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics and at the Secretariat for the Environment in Pirassununga-SP. She has experience in the area of Geosciences, working mainly on the following topics: Environmental Analysis, Geographic Information Systems / Geoprocessing, Territorial Planning and Environmental Management.

Possui graduação em Geografia Bacharelado (Com Ênfase em Análise Ambiental e Geoprocessamento) pela Universidade Federal de Alfenas (2013), Mestrado em Ciências Ambientais pela Universidade Federal de Alfenas (2016) e Doutorado em Ciências na área de concentração de Ecologia e Recursos Naturais pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos. É pesquisadora do Grupo de Estudos do Observatório de Áreas Protegidas da UFSC. Foi bolsista CNPq no Doutorado(2019-2023), bolsista CAPES durante o Mestrado (2014-2016) e pela FAPEMIG na Iniciação Científica (2012). Realizou estágio docente na Divisão de Meio Ambiente na Prefeitura Municipal de Porto Ferreira - (2010-2011) e no Laboratório de Geomorfologia e Solos na UNIFAL-MG (2012). Trabalhou no Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística e na Secretaria de Meio Ambiente de Pirassununga - SP. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Análise Ambiental, Sistemas de Informações Geográficas/Geoprocessamento, Planejamento Territorial e Gestão Ambiental.
