Bradley Joseph Smith

He completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016), where he worked with RNA-Protein interactions under the orientation of Dr. Hong Jin. He obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP; 2019) under the orientation of Dr. Daniel Martins-de-Souza, working on post-translational modifications. He has experience in Biochemistry and Proteomics, focusing on the following subjects: post-translational modifications, co-immunoprecipitation, shotgun proteomics, immunoaffinity enrichment, protein-protein interactions, and interactomes.

Possui graduação em Bioquímica - University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016) onde estudou interações proteína-RNA sob a orientação da Dra. Hong Jin. Possui mestrado em Biologia Funcional e Molecular na área de Bioquímica da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) (2019) sob a orientação do Prof. Daniel Martins-de-Souza, desenvolvendo um projeto de modificações pós-traducionais. Tem experiência na área de Bioquímica e Proteômica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: modificações pós-traducionais, co-imunoprecipitação, proteômica de larga escala, enriquecimento por imuno-afinidade, interações interproteicas e interactomas.
