Has a PhD in Information and Communication Technology from the Università degli Studi di Trento (Italy), a MSc degree in Informatics and a BSc degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Brazil).Co-founder of Menthor, a spin-off of the NEMO research group, which focuses on the development of ontology-based applications and the maintenance and evolution of the Menthor Editor, a computational environment to build, validate and implement ontologies (of which he is one of the authors) .Research areas include Ontology-driven Conceptual Modeling, Semantic Web and Enterprise Modeling.
