Born in the city of Belém in the State of Pará, he moved while still a newborn to the city of São Luís in the State of Maranhão, where he was raised and lives to this day. In the academic field, he graduated in Economic Sciences (2008) and became a Master (2013) and Doctor (2018) in Public Policies, all courses being held at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), in addition to improving in University Didactics. by the Business School Excellence (ENE) (2012). In the professional sphere, he held the position of Administrative Manager at the company Tory Brindes LTDA (2008-2014) and was a professor at the Federal Institute of Maranhão - IFMA Campus Bacabal (2013-2014), he currently holds the position of Professor and occupies the Reward Position of Head of the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). As a social contribution, he is currently Effective Federal Councilor of the Federal Council of Economics COFECON (2019-2021) (2022-2024), coordinating the Economic Statistics Working Group. It is worth mentioning that he had the experience of exercising the Vice Presidency (2015-2016-2017) and Presidency (2016) of the Regional Council of Economy of the State of Maranhão (CORECON-MA), in addition, he was Effective Director of the Commercial Association of Maranhão (ACM) (2017-2019) and Member of the Board of Trade of the State of Maranhão (JUCEMA) (2018-2022). In teaching, he has taught subjects such as Introduction to Economics, Microeconomics Theory I, International Economics I and II, among others. As part of the research, he has participated in the Group for the Assessment and Study of Poverty and Policies directed at Poverty (GAEPP) (www.gaepp.ufma.br) since 2014 and is currently the deputy coordinator. He has experience in the area of Economics and Administration, with an emphasis on Public Policy Assessment, Socioeconomic Development, International Economics, Applied Economics and Economic Planning, working mainly on the following topics: Payroll Credit, Regional and Urban Development, Integration of Production Chains, Development of Suppliers and Public Policies.

No âmbito profissional, exerceu o cargo de Gerente Administrativo na empresa Tory Brindes LTDA (2008-2014) e foi professor do Instituto Federal do Maranhão - IFMA Campus Bacabal (2013-2014), atualmente exerce o Cargo de Docente e ocupa a Função Gratifica de Chefia do Departamento de Economia da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Como contribuição social, atualmente é Conselheiro Federal Efetivo do Conselho Federal de Economia COFECON (2019-2021) (2022-2024), coordenando o Grupo de Trabalho de Estatísticas Econômicas. Vale destacar que teve a experiência do exercício da Vice-presidência (2015-2016-2017) e da Presidência (2016) do Conselho Regional de Economia do Estado do Maranhão (CORECON-MA), além disso, foi Diretor Efetivo da Associação Comercial do Maranhão (ACM) (2017-2019) e Vogal da Junta Comercial do Estado do Maranhão (JUCEMA) (2018-2022). No exercício da docência, tem ministrado disciplinas, como Introdução a Economia, Teoria Microeconomia I, Economia Internacional I e II, dentre outras. No âmbito da pesquisa, participa do Grupo de Avaliação e Estudo da Pobreza e de Políticas direcionadas à Pobreza (GAEPP) (www.gaepp.ufma.br) desde 2014 e atualmente encontra-se como vice coordenador. Tem experiência na área de Economia e Administração, com ênfase em Avaliação de Políticas Públicas, Desenvolvimento Socioeconômico, Economia Internacional, Economia Aplicada e Planejamento Econômico, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Crédito Consignado, Desenvolvimento Regional e Urbano, Integração de Cadeias Produtivas, Desenvolvimento de Fornecedores e Políticas Públicas.
