Graduated in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), with a scholarship period in Australia, studying Health Sciences at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. Master's degree in Neuroengineering at Edmond and Lily Safra International Institute of Neuroscience (ELS-IIN) with a research line focused on Human Machine Interface, wearable sensors and virtual reality. PhD in Physical Therapy (UFRN) with research line focused on Evaluation and Intervention in the Nervous System, with a sandwich doctorate at Florida International University (FIU). Interested in research focused on the areas of neuroengineering, neuroscience, virtual and augmented reality, wearable technologies, neurorehabilitation, Human Machine Interface, assistive technology, data science and artificial intelligence.

Tem experiência na área de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional, com ênfase em Fisioterapia. Graduada em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), com graduação sanduíche na Austrália, estudando Health Sciences na University of Adelaide, South Australia. Mestrado em Neuroengenharia pelo Instituto Internacional de Neurociências Edmond e Lily Safra (IIN-ELS) com linha de pesquisa voltada para a Interface Homem-Máquina, sensores vestíveis e realidade virtual. Doutora em Fisioterapia (UFRN) com linha de pesquisa voltada para Avaliação e Intervenção no Sistema Nervoso, com doutorado sanduíche na Florida International University (FIU). Tem interesse em pesquisas voltadas para as áreas de neuroengenharia, neurociências, realidade virtual e aumentada, tecnologias vestíveis, neurorreabilitação, interface Homem-Máquina, tecnologia assistiva, ciência de dados e inteligência artificial.
