Engenheira Florestal formada pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) em 2017. Foi bolsista do Programa Ciência sem Fronteiras na Irlanda em Waterford Institute of Technology pela CAPES (2014 -2015) e estagiária na Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente - SEMMAM em Feira de Santana - Bahia, onde atuou no departamento de licenciamento ambiental (2015). Foi integrante do projeto de Implantação do Centro de Referência em Restauração Florestal da Mata Atlântica como bolsista de iniciação científica pela FAPESB. Possui mestrado em Sensoriamento Remoto pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) onde desenvolveu métodos de mapeamento e monitoramento da vegetação nativa do Nordeste brasileiro. Idealizou e concebeu o projeto Mapeamento e monitoramento da cobertura florestal da região Nordeste utilizando tecnologia de sensoriamento remoto e informações de campo (CNPq 431172/2018-8). Tem experiência em mapeamento de uso e cobertura da terra, desmatamento e degradação florestal, fenologia de espécies e análise de séries temporais. Foi membra estudantil do IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - (2018-2019). É membra do ESWN - Earth Science Women's Network - desde 2019.
Forest Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) in 2017. She was a fellow of the Science without Borders Program in Ireland at Waterford Institute of Technology by CAPES (2014-2015) and an intern at the Municipal Secretariat of Environment - SEMMAM in Feira de Santana - Bahia, where she worked in the environmental licensing department (2015). She was a member of the project "Implementation of the Reference Center for Forest Restoration of the Atlantic Forest" as a scientific initiation scholarship by FAPESB. She holds a master's degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) where she developed mapping and monitoring methods for native vegetation from the Brazilian Northeast. Has experience in GIS, applications of the Linear Spectral Mixing Model, species phenology, Caatinga, deforestation and forest degradation in the Amazon, and also time series analysis. She was a student member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (2018-2019). She has been a member of ESWN - Earth Science Women's Network - since 2019.
