Elyse Moritz Sacconato

Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2002), specialization in Hematology and Hemotherapy from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2004) and PhD in Sciences from UNIFESP (2009). She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Research Group on Immunohematology of the Hematology and Hemotherapy Department at UNIFESP, and works as a federal public servant in the same discipline. She is responsible for the Immunohematology Research Laboratory, with emphasis on neutrophil and platelet antigen/antibody detection techniques. In 2021 she was elected a member of the nomenclature committee of the 'Granulocyte Immunology Working Party / International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)'.

Possui graduação em Farmácia e Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2002), especialização em Hematologia e Hemoterapia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2004) e doutorado em Ciências pela UNIFESP (2009). Atualmente realiza Pós-Doutorado em Imunohematologia granulocitária na disciplina de Hematologia e Hemoterapia da UNIFESP, e atua como servidora pública federal enquadrada na mesma disciplina. Idealizadora e responsável pelo Laboratório de Pesquisa em Imunohematologia de granulócitos e plaquetas, com ênfase em técnicas de detecção de antígenos e anticorpos. Em 2021 foi eleita membro do comitê de nomenclatura do 'Granulocyte Immunology Working Party/ International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)'.
