Jorge Andres Duarte Duarte

PhD student of the Postgraduate Program in Science and Biotechnology (PPBI) at the Universidad Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2019-2022). He works in the area of research for the identification of new prototypes and bioactive molecules of importance in biological and biotechnological systems, especially in the line of development of bioproducts. Master of Science and Biotechnology at Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil, 2018-2019). He has a degree in environmental engineering and a degree in technology in commercial and financial management from Francisco de Paula Santander Ocana University UFPSO (Colombia, 2017). He worked as a researcher at the Network of Regional Observatories of the labor market (RED ORMET, Colombia). He has investigative experience in topics of phytochemistry, bioproducts, water treatment, solidarity economy, local development and sustainable tourism.
