Fonoaudiólogo, Mestre em Neuroimunologia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense no Laboratório de Neurobiologia da Atenção e do Controle Motor, Doutor em Neurociências e Comportamento pela Universidade de São Paulo, com intercâmbio internacional no Departamento de Pato-fisiologia da Faculdade de Medicina da University of Ljubljana (Eslovênia). Seu interesse clínico envolve patologias cognitivas. Na pesquisa tem interesse pelas funções mentais superioras por meio da atenção visual seletiva como modelo desses processos em seres humanos com perdas sensoriais congênitas, principalmente por utilização de psicofísica e cronometria mental .

D. on Neurosciences and Behavior at Universtiy of São Paulo, with terchange at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. His clinical interest is on language patologies, mainly on cognitive functions. His research focusses on Higher mental functions throughtout selective attention as a model of these processes on human beeings which have congenital sensorial losses using psychophysics and Functional Magnetic Ressonce. The main used method is mental chronometry, which is relatively simple and allows to investigate basic aspects on Nervous System and complex functions such as attention, language and the hemispheric specialization among others.
