Carine Roese Mores
M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Biosciences (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, Brazil, class of 2018). B.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, Brazil, class of 2015). Scientific apprentice at GBL - Genetics behavior Lab from 2013 to 2014. Internship at EMBRAPA - Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation at EAAL - Experimentation and Environmental Analysis Lab from 2015 to 2018. Currently works at Loyola University as a visiting research associate. Has experience conducting wet lab experiments and analyzing the data generated from high-throughput experiments, including RNA-seq, miRNA-seq, whole genome sequencing, 16S rRNA microbiome analysis, RT-PCR and Sanger sequencing. In addition, has experience programming in Python and R.
