Estrela Pereira dos Santos

Artista Visual, professora e pesquisadora, doutoranda do Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (PPGED-UFRN). Licenciada em Artes Visuais pela mesma instituição. Interessada em práticas pedagógicas que possibilitem a apreciação, a reflexão e a produção de arte nos diversos níveis educacionais. Desenvolve pesquisa sobre as linguagens presentes em produções artísticas, bidimensionais e tridimensionais, observando seus recursos expressivos, seus procedimentos, materiais e poéticas como possibilidades didáticas. Participa das linhas de pesquisa Poéticas e processos de criação em Artes, vinculado ao grupo de pesquisa Matizes do Departamento de Artes Visuais Deart - UFRN, e e Ensino e Linguagem, da linha Educação, Comunicação, Linguagens e Movimento do PPGED, da mesma instituição.Como parte de sua experiência acadêmica atuou nos Cursos de graduação de Artes Visuais e Pedagogia da UFRN, como monitora da disciplina de Expressão Visual, no projeto de extensão Memorarte e no Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID - Artes visuais). Em sua formação pós-graduada, realizou docência assistida na disciplina de Fundamentos da Linguagem Visual. Como professora celetista, ministrou aulas nas disciplinas Produção Tridimensional, Corpo e espaço e Tópicos em arte contemporânea, no curso de Licenciatura em Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Como artista visual participou de exposições coletivas e suas ilustrações já foram publicadas em livros ilustrados de literatura infantil e de Histórias em Quadrinhos.

Visual artist, teacher and researcher. Graduated in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), Masters in Education by the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE-UFRN). Interested in pedagogical practices that make possible the appreciation, reflection and production of art in the different educational levels. It develops research analyzing the languages ​​present in artistic productions, two-dimensional and three-dimensional. Observing its expressive resources, its procedures, materials and poetics as didactic possibilities. Participates in the lines of research Poetics and processes of creation in Arts, linked to the research group Matizes of the Department of Visual Arts of UFRN, and Teaching Reading and Literature: formation of the reader of the Center of Education of the same institution. As part of her academic experience, she worked in the Visual Arts and Pedagogy of UFRN as a monitor of the Visual Expression discipline, in the Memorarte extension project and in the Institutional Program for Initiation to Teaching Scholarships (PIBID - Visual Arts). In her postgraduate training, she taught assisted teaching in the Visual Language Fundamentals. As a visual artist she participated in collective exhibitions and her illustrations have already been published in illustrated books of children's literature and Comics.
