Waldo Alejandro Ruben Lara Cabezas

Graduated in Agronomy from the Pontific University Catholic of Santiago, Chile (1979), Master in Science at Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA), USP, Piracicaba, SP (1987) and Ph.D. in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition for the School of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz (1991), performing postdoctoral studies at CENA - USP (SP) in 1992. To date (September 2011) conducted their activities in Regional Pole Norwest Paulista, effecting their transfer to the Unit for Research and Development (UPD) Tatuí in early November 2011. Has experience in Agronomy with emphasis on soil fertility and fertilizers, acting on the following subjects: ammonia volatilization, use of N-15 stable isotope to measure the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers and studies on no-tillage (NT) and integrating Agriculture Livestock and Forest (iLPF). One pilot plant technology validation in ILP in Regional Polo was established. He served as Coordinator of the Steering Technical Committee by the MAPA - PISA with participation of public and private institutions of the city until May 2011, and collaborating technically with a producer of Cosmorama County, deploying iLPF the system unit of family farming. From November 2011, assumed responsibility for Research and Development Unit of Tatuí - Polo Regional Southwest Paulista - APTA/SAA, reactivating the unit in the administrative context and is in preparation of research projects in the area of management use of nitrogen fertilizers, planning units in iLPF) in addition, formalizing partnerships with private companies (Bayer, Agroceres, Fertion, and Ihara), producers, private University Center that has Agronomy (FAESB) and Secretary of Agriculture at the Municipality of Tatuí. From September 2013, the researcher transfers to the Unit of Research and Development of Itapetininga linked to the Southwest Regional Polo, DDD/APTA/SAA. At this time, he is initiating research activities in corn, to quantify the crop response to nitrogen function time of application of sulfur. In sugar-cane in partnership with Local Plant (Vista Alegre) targeting studies of nitrogen and sulfur interaction effect of crop (soybean) grown at the time of retirement of the cane fields and doses of nitrogen application on sugarcane - plant and subsequent ratoon and behavior of different varieties of sugarcane to verify its adaptability to the region.

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Pontifícia Universidad Católica de Santiago, Chile (1979), mestrado no Centro Energia Nuclear na Agricultura, USP, Piracicaba, SP (1987) e doutorado em Solos e Nutrição de Plantas pela Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (1991), realizando seu pós-doutorado no CENA-USP (SP) em 1992. Até o presente (setembro 2011) realizou suas atividades no Polo Regional Noroeste Paulista, efetuando sua transferência para a Unidade de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (UPD) de Tatuí no início de novembro de 2011. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Fertilidade do Solo e Adubação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: volatilização de amônia, N-15, cobertura de solo, milho, eficiência de fertilizantes nitrogenados, sistema plantio direto (SPD) e Integração Lavoura Pecuária e Floresta (iLPF). Foi estabelecida uma unidade piloto de validação de tecnologia em iLP no Polo Regional, atuou como Coordenador do Comitê Técnico Gestor junto ao MAPA-PISA junto a instituições públicas e privadas do município até maio de 2011, e está colaborando tecnicamente junto a produtor de Cosmorama implantando o sistema iLPF em unidade de agricultura familiar. A partir de novembro de 2011 assumiu a responsabilidade pela Unidade de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Tatuí - Polo Regional do Sudoeste Paulista - APTA/SAA, reativando a Unidade no contexto administrativo e se encontra em fase de elaboração de Projetos de Pesquisa na área de manejo de uso de fertilizantes nitrogenados, planejamento de Unidades Pilotos em ILPF e formalizando parcerias com empresas privadas (Bayer, Agroceres, Fertion, Ihara), produtores, centro universitário privado que possui Agronomia (FAESB) e com secretarias de agricultura e meio ambiente da Prefeitura Municipal de Tatuí. A partir de setembro de 2013 o pesquisador transferiu-se para a Unidade de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Itapetininga vinculada ao Polo Regional Sudoeste, DDD/APTA/SAA iniciando atividades de pesquisa na cultura de milho, visando quantificar a resposta da cultura a nitrogênio em função da época de aplicação de enxofre e em cana de açúcar em parceria com Usina local (Vista Alegre) visando estudos de interação nitrogênio e enxofre, efeito da cultura (soja) cultivada na época de reforma do canavial e de doses de aplicação de nitrogênio na cana-planta e soqueiras subsequentes e comportamento de diferentes variedades de cana para verificar sua adaptabilidade à região.
