Doutor em Letras Neolatinas pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro onde conduziu uma pesquisa sobre a história da teoria da narrativa na América Latina. Mestre em Estudos Literários pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2019), com uma dissertação sobre a obra narrativa do escritor chileno Alejandro Zambra e possui graduação em Letras com habilitação Português/Espanhol (2015) também pela UFV. Atualmente, é professor substituto no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Minas Gerais (IFMG) - Campus Congonhas, lecionando tanto no curso superior de Letras como no ensino médio integrado. Faz parte do Grupo de Pesquisa Cosmos Littera, no qual desenvolve pesquisas sobre narrativa latino-americana contemporânea e os efeitos de deslocamentos (voluntários ou não) transnacionais nessas mesmas obras. Foi editor-chefe e ensaísta na revista literária ano I: ensaio (2020-2021), colaborando com textos sobre literatura brasileira, identidade latino-americana e mercado editorial. Tem experiência na área de Literatura com ênfase em Literatura Latino-americana,atuando com Teoria da Narrativa, Literatura contemporânea e Literatura brasileira, Literatura hispano-americana e História da crítica.
PhD in Neo-Latin Letters from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro where he conducted research on the history of narrative theory in Latin America. Master in Literary Studies from the Federal University of Viçosa (2019), with a dissertation on the narrative work of the Chilean writer Alejandro Zambra and has a degree in Letters with Portuguese / Spanish qualification (2015) also from UFV. Currently, Diego teaches at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) - Campus Congonhas, teaching both in the higher education course of Languages and in integrated high school. He is part of the Cosmos Littera Research Group, in which he develops research on contemporary Latin American narrative and the effects of transnational displacements (voluntary or not) in these same works. He was editor-in-chief and essayist at the literary magazine ano I:ensaio (2020-2021), collaborating with texts on Brazilian literature, Latin American identity and the publishing market. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Literature with an emphasis on Latin American Literature, working with Narrative Theory, Contemporary Literature and Brazilian Literature, Hispano-American Literature and Critical History.
