Camila Abreu Teles

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Bahia (2013), a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Military Engineering Institute (2015) and a PhD in Chemistry from the Military Engineering Institute in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology (2019) in which she performed a sandwich internship at the University of Oklahoma (USA) for one year (2017-2018). In 2019-2020 she carried out a post-doctorate at the University of Poitiers (FR) and in 2021-2021 a second post-doc at the University of Lille (FR). In her research work she has been dedicated to the area of materials and heterogeneous catalysis with a main focus on the development of technologies for the production of fuels and green chemicals through the valorization of biomass. Her research work mainly includes the synthesis and characterization of materials and their performance in hydrogenation/hydrodeoxygenation reactions.

Obteve o Bacharelado em Química pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2013), Mestrado em Química pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia (2015) e Doutorado em Química pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia em colaboração com o Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia (2019) no qual realizou um estágio sanduíche na Universidade de Oklahoma (EUA) durante um ano (2017-2018). Em 2019-2020 realizou um pós-doutorado na Universidade de Poitiers (FR) através do programa CAPES/COFECUB e em 2021-2021 um segundo pós-doutorado na Universidade de Lille (FR). Em seu trabalho de pesquisa tem se dedicado na área de materiais e catálise heterogênea com foco principal no desenvolvimento de tecnologias para a produção de combustíveis e produtos químicos verde através da valorização de biomassa. Seu trabalho de pesquisa inclui principalmente a síntese e caracterização de materiais e sua performance em reações de hidrogenação/hidrodesoxigenação.
