Flávio Junio Neres Muniz

Master in Social History from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). He has a degree in History from the Federal University of Uberlândia, having a Bachelor's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in History. He has experience in History, focusing on the History of Brazil, the resistance of enslaved people and their legal-socio-political relations. He has researched African history, diaspora, Africanist historiography, socio-political ordering in African societies, the impact of Atlantic trafficking and European colonization on the processes of constitution and reconfiguration of political entities on the African continent. He has researched on various shades of Black resistance, such as cinema, literature, Civil Rights Movements, Apartheid, Racial Segregation and their correlations. He has experience as a trainer in courses and lectures on structural racism and social inequality. He is currently Coordinator of the NGO Missão Escola da Vida, an entity that assists young people and teenagers in situations of social risk in the city of Uberlândia - MG, being one of its founders. Attends Law at Fadir - UFU. Coordinator of the Basic Training Course in African History promoted by the OAB Commission for the Promotion of Racial Equality, Uberlândia section. Coordinator of the Training Course for Ethnic-Racial Relations - ERER - Polo Uberlândia, promoted by NEABI UFU - PONTAL.

Mestre em Historia Social pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, sendo Licenciado e Bacharelado em História.Tem experiência em História, tendo enfase na História do Brasil, nas resistências de escravizados e suas relações jurídico-sócio-políticas. Tem pesquisado História da África, diáspora, historiografia africanista, ordenamentos sócio-políticos nas sociedades africanas, o impacto do tráfico atlântico e da colonização européia nos processos de constituição e reconfiguração das entidades políticas do continente Africano. Tem pesquisado sobre diversas matizes de resistência Negra, como cinema, literatura, Movimentos de Direitos Civis, Apartheid, Segregação Racial e suas correlações. Tem experiência como formador em cursos e palestras sobre o racismo estrutural e desigualdade social. Atualmente é Coordenador da ONG Missão Escola da Vida, entidade que atende jovens e adolescentes em situação de risco social na cidade de Uberlândia - MG, sendo um de seus fundadores. Cursa Direito pela Fadir - UFU. Coordenador do Curso de Formação Básica em História da África promovido pela Comissão de Promoção da Igualdade Racial da OAB, seção Uberlândia. Coordenador do Curso de Formação para as relações étnico-raciais - ERER - Polo Uberlândia, promovido pelo NEABI UFU - PONTAL.
